Moments when his face shows sentiment. Only when he’s alone or taken aback. Inspired by ”Sentiment is a chemical defect found in the losing side” and “I imagine John Watson thinks love’s a mystery to me, but the chemistry is incredibly simple and very destructive” and of course Benedict’s acting.

Here you have Season 1 analysis
*As a note, this episode was a mindfuck. Even after triage, the amount of expressions is overwhelming and took me by surprise, so expect over 64 pics of Benedict’s face doing things.
I knew Scandal was a “sentiment” episode, but still. Again, the final scenes are great, because after an entire episode of well…feeling and expressing feelings more openly, Sherlock, after the confrontation with Irene and the speech about sentiment… he just switches back to the old self contained, hard, cold mask. And it was fun to capture. So enjoy.
